Little Twelvewoods Cottage, Cornwall
We stayed at Twelve LittleWoods Cottage from Saturday 22nd August until Saturday August 2015.
There is a log burning stove in the lounge area. The dining room has the original flag stone floor which adds real character. The kitchen has been extended and there is a washing machine, fridge, microwave and chest freezer. We were impressed how well equipped the kitchen was - there was even a slow cooker!
Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a fold up bed to sleep a fifth person. The bathroom is clean and cleaning things are provided as they are not on mains sewer. Bed linens, bath towels and tea towels are provided.
A TV guide and bottle of wine was left for us. The electric meter was topped up for us to begin the week with, with an additional £3 left in change should we run out of electric and need to top up in case of emergency. There are games and books to borrow to keep children entertained.
There is a patio set in the back garden to seat 4 people, a washing line and childrens slide.
In front of the cottage there is a chicken coup and a cow field. The location of the cottage is just off a main road and is an excellent base for touring the area. We did not find the road to be noisy at all.
In short, we would recommend and we would love to go back to Twelve Little Woods Cottage one day. The cottage was spotless clean and had charm and character. The owners were very friendly and even set us a Christmas card!
