Crochet Christmas Blanket
I started the first "Santa" square on Friday 25th September 2015, the night before we went to Harry Potter Experience for the weekend. I asked Mark to print the chart of for me, did the first corner, decided it would be easy enough to do and packed it away. I hated it! So many colour changes and counting, I finished the Santa square and said no more, I would use it for the front of a cushion cover instead! I really, really wanted to do the blanket though, I thought it would be lovely to bring out each Christmas and snuggle under while Mark read "Twas the night before Christmas" to us on Christmas Eve. So I kept going....................................
There were times I really enjoyed it and times when I really hated it (the endless ends to sew in). I took it on holiday with me and got it finished on Sunday 25th October 2015, it took 30 days to make.
Now I am thinking of doing another for Christmas 2016. More picture squares have been released and I love them all - a robin, an angel, Santa's feet going down the chimney, a fireplace, a poinsetta.
