Anais and Roman had their new block of 12 swimming lessons start today. Anais class is now for one hour instead of half an hour and she has to swim the full length of the pool, whereas before, the top quarter of the pool was reserved for another class so she only had to swim three quarters of it. She is now very tired after swimming the full length of the pool for a whole hour, to give you an idea, when she got in the pool her new teacher said "Ok warm up..............

The local cinema was running a competition for children of different age groups to draw a picture of the Monsters at University so Anais drew and entered the picture above.
Our Postman came very late today - this afternoon - just as I was about to go to Roman's sports day. There was a letter for Anais so I took it with me and gave it to her when I saw her as she was helping with the infants sports day.
It was a note saying she has won in the age 10+ category!

Anais asked for a Minion Birthday Cake. So I brought a pack of mixed fondant icing. If I have time I also might make another round battenburg cake so I brought some marzipan too.
This evening we have made a minion each. With the yellow icing that was left we also made a bum each or as the minions say "butt!" or "bottom he he he he!"
This one is Mark's, his one is holding a banana as minions like banana's!
This one is my one.
The eyes are made out of marzipan as the icing pack didn't come with any white. We had a good laugh making these tonight!
Now to hide them in the fridge and hope that Anais doesn't see them!

Finally, we still haven't seen the caterpillar since he buried himself in the dirt yesterday morning, so not much to report for Day 3 of Caterpillar Watch.
