This afternoon was crafts. I started another amigurumi but haven't got got far with it today.

A while ago I was nominated by Joy, the crafts tutor, for an "Outstanding Learner Award" and today was the awards evening. All personal things have been posted on Facebook but I had these lovely cards off Mark, Anais and Roman.
A while ago I was nominated by Joy, the crafts tutor, for an "Outstanding Learner Award" and today was the awards evening. All personal things have been posted on Facebook but I had these lovely cards off Mark, Anais and Roman.
We had "Congratulations" notices on the wall with our names and stories on. There was a photographer and I had my photo taken alone and with Mark (this might end up in a prospectus next year or the year after). We had a drink and cake and then the awards started. Apparently there are 15,000 adult learners in Birmingham. I was one of 27 winners!
