No swimming lesson for Anais today as she went to a music concert at school instead 5-7pm. The sixth former's do a concert each March to prepare them for 1, their music exams and 2, performing in front of an audience. The audience is for the rest of the school who are learning musical instruments. As Anais is learning how to play the clarinet and violin she was invited to go. It also has the benefit of inspiring the younger students and to see what is involved should they wish to take music up as an option at the end of year 8 or as a B-Tech in sixth form.
Anais enjoyed it even though she was the only person from her year who attended. She enjoyed it so much so asked to go to the concert tomorrow night too which is drummer's performing!
