Nightmare morning this morning, Roman finished writing his Christmas cards last night and was excited to take them to school today - so excited he forgot his book bag and only realised when we got to school. I had to come home grab his book bag and take it back to school for him. I was about to go out and had a phone call from Anais' school saying she had forgotton her clarinet and could I drop that in too - another diversion.
Horrible cold and foggy day today. Today was week 12 and the last week of the course "Helping your child to succeed at school". We took a group trip to college to look around and see what further education courses they offer should we consider enrolling and doing a course there in the future. This snowflake in "Simply Crochet" magazine is pretty and delicate. They were pretty simple to do so I made five. They won't lie flat like in the photo above though so.......... ...I tried spraying one with starch spray and ironing it to make it flat but it almost made it loose its shape - it went paper thin, very weak and expanded. I have an idea to do lots of these and hang them from the ceiling using mono filament transparent jewellery thread. Anais made two rhubarb crumbles in Food Technology at school and brought them home. They were very nice, even Roman finished a bowl off and he is normally not keen on rhubarb. Roman brought home a police car he made at school........ .......and a scroll...... ....he was "Paths Kid of the Day" again! Here is his compliment list which we need to add to. Anyone want to add anything?
