It was heavy rain when we got up this morning so we decided to stay in and make bread. I brought a bread mix with us as last time we made bread in the caravan the kids really enjoyed it.
Bottom right picture shows what it looked like once it had been kneaded and ready to be left to "prove".
It wasn't, but glad to say it wasn't as windy as it was on Sunday!
Driving into Weymouth we saw the bridge open! Couldn't get the camera out in time to get a photo, so not brilliant, photo is of bridge closing.
At least the kids finally got to see it open though.
Kids keep asking if we could go crab fishing so we thought why not?!?!
Here they are peering over the edge. I was sat on the bench ready to do a runner if they caught a fish! I eventually moved to the car to do some knitting as the whole experience freaked me out!
Sad to say the only thing they caught was a cold!
The fish/crab's kept pinching the bacon off the hook. They did "catch" a few crabs but they kept falling off before Roman could net them. After an hour and half they gave up.
I LOVE the colour though I think it is more suited to spring/summer than autumn/winter.
I have an over whelming fear of fish/anything that comes out of water and while I won't touch it, I don't mind if they do.
On the way home we stopped off at Asda for crab sticks for Roman. Couldn't find any but did find these which said on the pack "crab flavoured" but "made with Alaska Pollock".
Anais refused to touch them. Roman tried and hated them. He has fish fingers at school on Friday's though so he asked for ketchup to dip them in.
He said they taste better with ketchup though he is still not keen. Very proud of him for at least trying them though!
