This morning was the last English group before Christmas. There was no craft group this afternoon.
I spent the rest of the day making Roman another hat, he appreciates them and spends a lot of time each morning deliberating which one he should wear that day!
In the box of wool I had off ebay in June there was a part ball of green super chunky wool. I kept going until it ran out using an 8mm hook. When it had run out I used two stands of black DK wool to make it the same thickness as the green. The braids were made with odd green wool in the wool box and black aran.
It is a Minecraft Creeper hat!

I feel once again my sewing skills have let me down and could be better. I am not good at hand sewing at the best of times but having a still bandaged up finger does not help. Roman loves it anyway and is excited to take it to school to show his friends tomorrow!
This evening was swimming lessons and as it was the last one before Christmas it was party time! Roman's lesson is before Anais' so he asked his teacher if Anais could join him for a play and she said yes. Anais then had a further half hour of her lesson with her friends which made her hour up.
