Lots of rain and wind today. I was naughty and picked Roman up from school in the car.
Roman had club this afternoon. Anais chose not to do orchestra today as she was selected for the netball team and had an away match. She came home soaked to the bone in her PE kit as they played outside in the rain.

I thought I would try an experiment, I had some butter, eggs and flour that needed using up so made two sponge's for a cake. They will be frozen and defrosted at a later date to see if they are OK to be frozen then thawed and decorating. We eat lots of cake (greedy!) but sometimes its a pain having to make them from scratch. It would be useful to whip one out the freezer.
Anais came home while I was baking and she wanted to make some (very!) blue fairy cakes.
