We walked round the grounds, saw the dungeons and crypt. Anais and Roman each did a trail and spent a long time in each room looking for clues etc.......
We had lunch outside in the sun and then went for a walk around Dunster village and to Dunster Working Water Mill. Wow! VERY INTERESTING! Roman especially thought it was interesting, he said he didn't know water could be so powerful! We walked inside the mill and upstairs to see the mill grinding wheat to flour. We walked outside to see the last remaining wheel working and up to the viewing platform and couldn't resist coming away with a bag of wholemeal bread flour from the mill so we can try to make our own bread when we get home.
We walked back to the car following the river back up to Dunster Castle and from there went to Watchet. We parked for an hour and walked round the little village, had a look in the Maritime Museum, sat at the harbour with an ice-cream, watched a steam train come in and walked along the harbour wall with nice views out to see.
We got back to the caravan shortly after 6pm - we were all tired. We had a quick tea and then went to feed the donkeys and for another walk around site and by the river before coming back and getting ready for bed. Anais and Roman are watching Wallace and Grommit.
Last night Anais assembled her wooden violin model and while tea was cooking today she painted it. Roman still has to finish painting his canvas and paint his fighter jet but today he made his loom band watch,
A few photo's until we get home and I can add more (click to enlarge and for descriptions)..................
