I came home and finished my crochet cushion. While we were away in the caravan over the weekend I finished crocheting a plain granny square for the reverse side of it. I also added another row/border of granny squares to each side to make each side a little wider.
I LOVE MY NEW CUSHION! IT IS SOOOO PRETTY!
On Saturday at Evesham after our picnic I started a new book Jenny Colgan "Amanda's Wedding". 33% of the way through so far.
Also today a huge pile of ironing done.
Triop Watch! - Day 2
WHAT ARE TRIOPS?
Triops are crustaceans, which are in the family of shrimps and crabs. Triops obtain the oxygen they need from the water through their 70 pairs of feet.
WHY ARE THEY CALLED TRIOPS?
Triops get their name because they have three (tri-) eyes (op). So that's where they get their name from.
WHERE ARE TRIOPS FOUND?
Triops are found sometimes in the United States of America, (USA), or they come from Europe where they are more commonly found in dessert type areas.
HOW LONG DOES A TRIOP LIVE FOR?
Triops usually live for 6 to 12 weeks, until they probably die, it could be shorter, and it could be longer.
WHAT IS HAPPENING WI TH OUR TRIOPS?
Our triops are beginning to hatch (hopefully), and all the little bits of wood and eggs are beginning to sink to the bottom of the tank.
