Mark was off today as he had to work Sunday. After we dropped Roman at school we took Anais' library book back which was late and popped to the charity shop over the road to look for wool (I always go for a mooch!). No wool today BUT I did spy this silk painting kit in a box for £2!
When we got home later in the day and I opened it I was pleased as there was extra's in the box! Box contained -

a box of 10 Marabu silk paints (extra to the kit!)

After that we went to the cinema to see "The Hunger Games - Catching Fire". I read the trilogy back in May/June when we were on holiday, they were really good and I finished all three books in one week. Mark started reading them in June and he loved them too they were really gripping. We watched "The Hunger Games" film on Father's Day.
Film was really good we both enjoyed it, the last book "Mockingjay" is being made into two films to be released November 2014 and November 2015.

Roman had his Christmas party at school today, it was also dress down day for the party. He brought a table mat home and Christmas hat that he made at school and he won the pencils in the pass the parcel.
Anais had her Christmas dinner at school today which she said was nice.
Roman went to club this afternoon and had ANOTHER Christmas party! Lots of party food, music and he got a gift - a box of festive shapes.
This evening we met up with Jenny and took the kids to the cinema to see "Disney Frozen" The first teaser trailer that came out to this was with the snowman and the reindeer fighting over the carrot - the kids loved it and said they wanted to see it. The next trailer that came out to it made the film look a little like "Tangled" and that's a good film so we said we would go and see it before Christmas.
It was an EXCELLENT film, everyone REALLY enjoyed it, the snowman and reindeer were HILARIOUS, there was lots of laughter from everyone! Would recommend for a good family film.
Remember the snowman needle felting kit I brought in Weymouth in October for 50p? I thought I would start it today before we went to see "Frozen".
It came out of the pack fluffy like cotton wool..............
......roll the wool up and stab it on the mat - it "interlocks" the wool and makes it dense.......

This was all I had time to do before we went out so hopefully I will get him finished tomorrow or Thursday.
He doesn't come with any arms though and the instructions said you need twigs for arms. When we went to the cinema Roman told me to pick two "twigs" of a bush so I got these though they are spiky. I will either cut the spikes off or be on the hunt for more twigs tomorrow!

Also today while Roman was at his club, the parcel that should have been delivered yesterday was delivered - hurrah!
