We went to Lyme Regis, parked the car for two hours, walked up and down the high street and along the sea front and Cobb. We sat on the pebble beach enjoying the sun and watching the kids throwing pebbles in the sea. We then moved to the sandy part of the beach where they played in the sand.
We had a picnic lunch by Charmouth.

We have matching ones again now!

Look at this huge crab in the water. We think he had fallen out of a fisherman's net as he wasn't moving, we think he was dead.

This afternoon after I had finished the scarf I was wondering what I could start on next.................
I remembered I had some navy chunky wool left from when I made Roman's finger less gloves on Friday.
I made my own pattern up as I went along, though I kind of gave away what I was doing when I asked to measure Anais head!
I did a chain of 70 then singled crocheted into the back loop of each stitch to create the rib effect. It's the same principle as doing the rectangles for the fingerless gloves. When it looked wide enough and making sure I had some wool left over I sewed the two ends together and made a simple crochet flower which I sewed on top of it. Anais loves it!
