We didn't hurry to go out this morning as it was raining heavy. We had boiled egg and soldiers for breakfast and then played board games. We finally went out approx 11am when we went for a walk around Burnham on Sea for essentials - fudge and chocolate!
We came back to the caravan for lunch which was homemade soup which I made in the slow cooker on Sunday (when the gammon was cooking) and then put in the freezer to eat on a rainy day at the caravan - today.
After lunch we played more board games and then as it stopped raining we went for a walk to the top of Brean Down - we were all exhausted by the time we got to the top and were pleased we had taken drinks and snacks for when we got to the top - no-one expected it to be as steep/tall as it was. We then went for a walk down the beach while it was sunny.
Before tea we played more board games and Anais started to do some embroidery stencil work (she had this for Christmas).
After tea it started raining heavy again so no feeding the donkeys again today - we have huge puddles outside the caravan AND in the awning.
Although we have heavy rain it is quite warm - everyone is moaning it is too hot in the caravan, we are nice and cozy listening to pitter patter on the roof.
