New contact lens day today - I am seeing in HD!

The TIVO box and upgraded broadband were installed today. We have gone from the XL package to the starter package (we don't watch much TV) BUT we now have a TIVO box. The broadband has also been upgraded from approx 16mb to 30mb which should improve internet connection as we have so many WIFI devices connected. It has also meant we have done away with the old router which we kept having problems with (remember last year it kept loosing the internet?), we now have a "superhub" which is a router and modem in one. By downgrading our TV package we will save approx £450 per year.
Mark re-joined Netflix tonight for another month now we can get the Netflix app through the TIVO box :-)

Tapestry update, lots done today while I was waiting for the engineer to come (bottom left corner) -
With the half a ball of pink crochet cotton I brought yesterday I made a pink doily while the engineer was here. There are no beads on this one though as I need 27 beads for each one and I am running out of beads.
Roman had his swimming lesson this evening - he was moved up a class and has gone from the shallow end to the middle of the pool. Before the class he told us he was worried as he wouldn't know anybody and because he would be in the middle of the pool and wouldn't be able to stand up. We told him he would make new friends and he has swam in the deep end of pools before on holiday so not to worry. He did well and had nothing to worry about - well done Roman!
Also feeling happy tonight as Roman's swimming teacher gave me some lovely comments on my berry coloured scarf :-)

I have finished the book "The Windermere Witness" - I didn't particularly enjoy it, it was too slow and frankly I didn't care for any of the character's.
Google Play currently have a good sale on so tonight Mark has downladed Dan Brown "Inferno" and Helen Fielding "Bridget Jones - Mad About the Boy" for me. Not sure which one I will start first?!?! I will have to make my mind up soon as the past few days I have enjoyed going to bed, electric blanket on and reading in bed once the fire has gone out!

Last year I enjoyed Stephanie Meyer "The Twilight Saga" and "The Host" and really, really enjoyed Suzanne Collins "The Hunger Games Trilogy" and Stiegg Larson "The Millenium Trilogy" so if anyone has any recommendations along these lines please send them my way, thanks! xx
