Here are the milk glass jars now they are *almost* dry, not keen on the cream colour as I still think they look like a jar of white lasagne sauce! The paint didn't stick very well to the reed diffuser jar, it has pooled at the bottom. It might be because the bottle had oil in it previously or it might be because I watered the paint down too much.

Last time we used the caravan I brought the salt and pepper pots home to find something to put them in as I was fed up of them spilling everywhere, especially when travelling.
This is just a rectangle food storage container which I stuck red polka tape to (free with magazine last year) and then crocheted what I wanted to look like a little red poppy (to match the rest of the kitchen things!) and sewed a black button in the centre which I then stuck to the container.

I am VERY PROUD tonight as Anais got moved to the next class up at swimming lessons! She was in the Supreme class, she has been moved up to the Junior Coaching Class now! (There is only class class above Junior Coaching - Junior Coaching 2&3 - combined.) Her teacher said we left too fast last week though as he meant to give us her moving up slip last week but we had left already. Only downside is there are not many Junior Coaching classes available unless we move to another pool, only two per week. The only class available at the moment is on a Sunday morning which is incompatible with us as we are always busy on weekends and unable to commit, after school is far more convenient. She has been told she can stay in her current class for the time being but we will have to keep checking to see if her new class has a space available for her on the day we require.
Finally, it makes me smile everytime I see this!
