We went for a walk to the bridge after tea today instead of before tea and it was nice seeing the sun set. We also noticed there were more wild horse and ponies out later in the day than earlier. We have also seen wild rabbits (or hares) but they are too fast for us to get a photo of them.
Little bird outside the cottage this morning. We went to Newquay. We had a picnic on the beach, Anais and Roman had a paddle and played in the sand and we walked around the town. We googled this house on the hill which is reached by a bridge and there is an article in the Daily Mail on it. On the way back we stopped off at Carnwas at Bedruthan. Very, very pretty but scary getting close to the edge! Check out the size of that beetle! We also managed to get Anais some new wellies from Tesco Wadebridge (size 7!) after one of hers split earlier this week, then the other split a few days later. The only wellies we have seen the last few days are calf length ones and ideally we wanted knee length ones, so she is pleased now as she can paddle in the shallow part of the river and keep her legs dry when it rains! Firstly, photo's refused to upload in gallery format then they were duplicated many times over and I had to delete. The last set of photo's I have uploaded to a slideshow instead and it has taken HOURS.
