We had a nice lie in this morning.
We picked Anais and Roman up and went for a little stroll around the yachting pool. It was cold but bright - almost like a proper spring day. The pool was mostly frozen over though so the ducks were walking on the ice instead of swimming and no boats were out.

When we came home Anais and Roman did their homework. Anais' was to write about China's one child policy. Roman designed a picture of a chinese dragon.
This afternoon we tidied the conservatory up and I put my sewing machine out there to leave out permanently. It is warmer in the daytime in the conservatory now than in the house.
Anais had this wool for Christmas. It makes a super fast scarf by finger crocheting.
After a false start where she crocheted both strands together (which made a VERY short but thick scarf) Mark undid it so she could start again. The peg marks the middle - she had to crochet a single length to this point, slip stitch it together to make a hoop and then crochet another length.
The second length was joined to the original hoop with another slip stitch which formed a necklace scarf two strands thick.
Here it is finished. She said it is very warm and snuggly. I love the colours.
