We picked Anais and Roman up early today. We had baths when we got back and the rest of the day was a pyjama day! Anais and Roman did their homework. Mark lit Fred very early and used up half a bag of coal which we have had since November 2013. We have found - * it is hard to get going * it burns constantly but at a lower temperature than wood Anais wanted to have a go at sewing so I showed her how to thread the machine - she is now capable of doing it by herself! She wrote everything down to refer back to, step by step. Her practise piece of doing straight lines............. She wanted to have a go at sewing two pieces of fabric together so I showed her how to pin them together. I went to load the dishwasher and she came in to show me she had made a phone case! This was her own work as she has sewed three sides together and then turned it inside out to make a phone case. She then had a go at making another, this one has a longer flap at the front......... Roman said he wanted to have a go at using "the foot pedal under the table thingy". Anais took everything out the machine and re-threaded it to show him what to do. Roman then a go at sewing straight lines........... Mark made two more wines, we haven't made any since October. Am loving the CLEAN and SHINY new oven! It is a lot quieter than the old one too.
