We stayed in today - boiled egg and soldiers for breakfast.
I finished off a set of eight crochet coasters (started yesterday, pattern here) using up an odd ball of wool out of the scrap box. Might turn them into pretty bunting yet though and hang them from a window somewhere - it is thin wool and they are delicate and lace like.

Anais was looking through Roman's library books on Ancient Egypt and found a page on hieroglyphics. She looked at the photo's she took yesterday and tried to decode these (without much success!)
Mark and Roman made a pyramid and Roman did some facts on pyramids (Roman's homework).
Nicolette and Lexi came round this afternoon, a good few hours spent reading library craft books and getting ideas. Thanks for the wool, its variegated so will be nice to make a beaded crochet doily.
Roman worked so hard doing his homework (one whole A4 page of pyramid facts) he made some brownies this afternoon which we ate for pudding with creme egg ice-cream, yummy!
Today I made brownies they were very nice we had them with ice cream I did my home work I made a prymid I did my homework on prymids I played with lexi I watched lego ningargo now I am going to go and play on my tablet.
Mark used the new oil stone to sharpen the axe and chopped some wood to make kindling. Fred went on early today - its been cooooold.
He has also been working on covering his model plane now he has paint thinners.
This afternoon while Anais was watching "Sherlock" (doing about it in English this term), Mark was working on his plane and Roman was googling Lego, I made Nicolette a crochet pin cushion. She doesn't want to use the crochet hedgehog I made as a pincushion as she said it is too cute!
