We gave Anais and Roman the choice of what to do today - visit a National Trust house or stay in. They both chose to stay in, they said it was cold outside and they wanted to play with their new toys.

Anais has been playing with her new keyboard and doing a jigsaw.

Roman spent most of today building his new Lego.........................

Today i made a lego plane with my dad i did get stuk some times i also made a lego boat yesturday

We made some cake pop and mini cakes. I used a quarter of what I normally use for making sponge cake, so.......
50g butter
50g sugar
1 egg
50g self raising flour
splash of vanilla extract
Cooked for approx 10 minutes.

Only I forgot we have no bars of chocolate to melt to cover them, arrrrgh. We have saved them and will nip out tomorrow to get a bar to finish them.

We have had this piece of wood in the house since our last log delivery on December 23rd. Roman won't let us burn it as he said it looks like the Millenium Falcon (Star Wars!)

Pattern for blanket found here. As these blankets come out single bed size it will be for either Anais or Roman. Along with the other ripple blanket I made last year, they will then have one each for their beds or to snuggle in when they are cold :-)
