First thing this morning we went to B&Q for gravel to go in front of the log store. We were unsure whether to remove the upturned slabs and turf up to the log store or gravel it. We decided to go with the gravel in the end as it gets quite muddy and water logged at the bottom of the garden and the rain splashes off the mud so the gravel will help with drainage. We didn't get enough bags though, we under estimated the size so Mark has to stop off on the way home tomorrow for more. While we were in B&Q I got three lavender plants on offer............. ........and I was after some kind of large tile to go under the electric stove in the conservatory to act as a "hearth". I was lucky as there was this pack of three rectangle ones in the reduced section for £1. We also managed to come home with some new bedroom furniture for Anais' bedroom as it was on offer on clearance "when its gone its gone". It is currently being stored away until a rainy weekend we can start it then.......... After we picked Anais and Roman up from mom and dads house we took a drive to Cannon Hill Park but once again there was no where to park. We realised on the way out that a car park by the Nature Centre had been closed for re-surfacing meaning not enough car parking for the volume of cars :-( We went to the yachting pool again to feed the ducks and look at the model boats that were out. This afternoon while Mark was potting the lavender and putting gravel down I prepared and cooked tea and did the ironing. Anais and Roman played in the back garden. Breaking Bad - 58/62
