Last night Anais asked what we were going to do today. We said we had planned to spend the day in, watch Christmas films and do our fingerprint Christmas cards.
Anais said she didn't like stopping in, she liked going out and seeing and doing things. Anais said she wanted to go to Coventry Transport Museum and Roman said he wanted to go to RAF Cosford.
I suggested going for a walk around The Library of Birmingham instead and getting some Christmas/craft books out - everybody said YES!!!!!!!!!!
So, this morning we parked the car for 11AM in the back roads (free parking) and walked by the canal to get to the Library of Birmingham.
Good job it was free parking too - you will see why!
We did a tour of the building instead, the architecture is very interesting, it is like a maze or puzzle how everything fits together so well. Here is the basement........

We picked some books out ready for when systems were restored............
Roman got VERY excited when he found a LUNAR MODULE in a space book!
It had taken almost three hours to look around, choose some books, go for lunch by the side of the canal and go back to the library.
When we got back to the library these are the books we got out..................
We listened to the Christmas music CD in the car on the way home. Anais said she wants to practise the music on her violin........................
The kids watched "Roman and the Christmas train" AKA "Polar Express"....................
.....................and "Nativity".
Last night we all decided on reindeer cards again, they are cute and we love their red noses.
Last night we all fingerprinted and left overnight to dry......
.....this morning Mark gave them all a red glitter glue nose.......
......this afternoon Mark gave them antlers and eyes.........
..........this evening we all wrote our names under our reindeer's..........
........and glossy accented their noses..........
.........the glossy accents is now being left to dry overnight so watch this space to see our completed cards.............
