I didn't have any meat as I'm not a big meat eater. So I had a plate of yummy veg instead! Cauliflower cheese, leeks, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, stuffing and my favourite, onions in gravy. AND I ate the lot apart from the leeks as they were a little gritty, the rest was delicious though, yum yum :-)
We stopped off at our local Blockbuster on the way home to hire a DVD but it has closed down already :-(
I made rose 1 first but it was hard to sew together as it wasn't very substantial, just the foundation chain. So after I made the foundation chain on rose 2, I did another row of single crochet along it to make it more substantial and this made it easier to sew up as there was more of it.
Rose 3 is the rose pattern i followed on Youtube last week but I used mohair this time to see what the effect would look like. It is only a small one as I did this one before bed so only wanted something quick to do.

He is ALMOST finished!!!!!!!!!
Today we managed to sew his other leg up and onto his body, sew his body up and sew both arms to his body. Now all that is left is to sew his other leg and his head to his body, sew his back up, stuff him and put the this pretty red heart in him.
I can't take the credit for this idea, it was Lexi's idea when Nicolette made her a felt doll in the summer................ to put a heart in! It was such a cute idea I pinched it for Teddy!
With all the Valentines things in the shops at the moment I picked up this red velvet heart and thought it would be perfect to put inside Teddy when we were sewing him up and stuffing him.
Here he is as we have left him tonight! Hopefully he will be finished later this week! And his name is.................
BUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!
(As he has a cute button nose!)
