Being in the caravan with no housework to do means lots of time to do other things. Ten hexagons done today, fourteen done in total so far.
Bit of a personal one, seven years ago today I had a miscarriage so to mark the anniversary each year I bake a cake. Even though we were in the caravan, this year was no exception, the cake making things came with us! So, this is in remembrance of Charlie xx Funny weather today, warm, cloudy, overcast and windy on and off throughout the day. Mark managed to work on our storage pitch and put extra slabs down which hopefully will make it easier to pull it out and out back in storage each time. Pictures to follow tomorrow! Being in the caravan with no housework to do means lots of time to do other things. Ten hexagons done today, fourteen done in total so far. Last night I had another go at making a jar cover and used bigger beads. I slid the beads down the yarn ready for when they were required but the beads must have snagged the yarn as it split so I had to join it and re-thread the beads on which was very frustrating. This one looks very pretty though as the beads are more in proportion to the size of the crochet. Mark raised the seat on Roman's bike and took the stabilizers off, there is no stopping him now! Anais finished reading "Charlotte's Web" today and started reading "The WerePuppy" (Jacqueline Wilson) on Kobo and finished it a few hours later! She is now on another Jacqueline Wilson ebook "Take a Good Look". Tea today was another BBQ exactly the same as last night, yum :-)
