We were out for 9.30 this morning and went to the Great British Craft Festival at Stoneleigh Park. It was very busy and Roman had to be carried on Mark's shoulders at the busy stall's due to the volume of people he was so small he kept getting overlooked!
I think we did quite good, Mark had some small craft mirror tiles with his dolls house in mind and an MDF "book" he plans to decorate and use for something, maybe store all of his cufflinks in? Anais had some music charms to make jewellery with - she was attracted mainly because of the violin charm! I had some beads and Hello Kitty charms. I had a new craft knife, blades, crafting scissors, 3D foam tape, a bag of Christmas goodies, a pack of cards, some BUTTERFLY ICING CUTTERS which I was most excited about as I have been after some for a while! They make cakes look so sweet! Anais and Roman had five MDF hearts each to make their names into "bunting" for their bedroom doors at home.
We enjoyed a nice picnic in the grounds of Stoneleigh Park with Jenny and Roman mainly using the plates to play "wasp tennis" and beat away the critters!
This afternoon we went for a drive to Warwick where we found a nice wool shop and I had ten balls of wool. three balls of bamboo and seven balls of frilly. Anais had a new rucksack for school next month. Jenny found an antique dealer and had four old sets of drawers.
It got quite late to come back and start cooking tea so we went to The Jubilee for tea which was very nice. Anais and Roman played in the park briefly and when we came back they have enjoyed the last of the evening sun riding their bikes.
This evening I have started crocheting which I may have to finish tomorrow as it is getting quite late now. xx
