Anais and Roman were excited to come downstairs this morning and find the crochet blanket had been finished!

This morning we went to the cinema to see "The Box Trolls".

Jenny came back to ours for lunch and then we got the knitting machines out.  Elaine gave me this one when we were at the caravan last Easter.  It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, very fiddly and time consuming though I guess it just needs more practise.

It didn't help that neither Jenny or I could clamp the machines to our table top as the top of the table is deep wood.  Mark needs to come up with an "invention" to keep mine from moving around and Jenny needs legs for hers.

Approx three hours later this is my poor attempt later!  Must try again!

Tonight Anais and Roman are having a sleepover at grandma and grandad's house.

Last year I read the book "The Book Thief".  I loved the book and kept saying I would like to see the film so we settled down early to watch it tonight - lovely film, it didn't disappoint.
