On the way back to the caravan we stopped off at the garden centre and a trip to Hobbycraft.
We also passed the Jinney Ring today so stopped off to have a look as Mark has never been before, I went with Nicolette last year. Anais and Roman wanted to stay in the car which was a shame as we thought they might enjoy seeing the ducks pond and ducks. Unfortunately there is no picnicing and no feeding the ducks though. The violin maker was closed which was also a shame as we thought Anais might have been interested in that. The gift shop was very lovely though with lots of quirky little gifts.
Tea was at The Jubilee. Anais took her maths homework to do while we were waiting for our dinners to come.
Late this afternoon we managed to take the awning down in between the showers. Very disappointed as the awning has a slight tear in the roof - we think caused by friction from the supporting bar. If there is room in one of the cars we will take the awning home and see if we can repair it sooner rather than later. This is going into the awnings third year, we brought it brand new in Easter 2012. It does get used quite a lot though for extended weekends and long breaks away.
Anais and Roman are disappointed to go home tomorrow, they say its a shame we can't stay longer. Much as I love the caravan I am looking forward to having a dishwasher, drier and unlimited internet again! xx
