New Years resolution was to stop buying things - use up what we have first! Also finish projects that we had already started and de-clutter!
I bought this eyelash wool from a shop in Cheddar almost two year ago, it was 2 balls for £1. Fortunately I only bought two balls as it was horrible to crochet with.
After sorting the conservatory yesterday afternoon and finding it again I googled ideas today - easy ways to use eyelash yarn - it said use another wool with it - GENIUS!
So, I made this scarf which is pretty thick, heavy and fluffy. It used up the two balls of pink eyelash yarn out of the odd box and also some cream aran wool from Elaine. It was much easier to use working with two yarns and it worked up pretty quickly too.
Note to self - never buy this stuff again!
x2 50g balls of eyelash yarn
approx 70g cream aran
12 stitches across, rows of treble crochet
10mm hook
Mark brought some pretty daffs home.
