Mark got up at 5.30 to put the beef and gammon in the slow cookers. Anais and Roman got up at a very reasonable 7.20. We opened the first batch of present's, had breakfast and then opened the second batch of present's
Nicolette, Jordan, Dylan & Lexi came over this afternoon followed by mom and dad and we exchanged more presents. A complete and utter mad house but lovely to be surrounded by family!
Here is something "Top Secret" we made before Christmas - I say "we" - I mean Jordan, Anais, Dylan, Roman and Lexi! Last week they made this fingerprint clock and wrote their names on for grandma and grandad for Christmas.
Lunch was slow cooked beef, gammon, roast potato's, parsnips, butternut squash, stuffing balls, pigs in blanket's, yorkshire pudding's, sprouts, green beans, carrot's and peas, red cabbage, chestnut stuffing and onion gravy. (Thanks mom for the red cabbage and chestnut stuffing!)
Festive Fred has been keeping us warm all day, so lovely to have a real flickering flame - creates such a lovely atmosphere!
Also see how hungry Father Christmas was - he finished off his plates of goodies!
Anais loved "Cluedo" and has been beating everybody at it all day. Roman loved all of his Lego - this afternoon Mark and Roman built the City Harbour which took a couple of hours! "The Lone Ranger" film has been on twice today.
Message for Jordan - "hope you are feeling better soon! xxxx"
The reindeer's left a surprise on our drive this morning - I will post a picture tomorrow!
Once again thanks everybody for all of our presents and we wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! XXXX
