![]() Went to W H Smith today to replace my Kobo. Must admit I like touchscreens and couldn't justify spending another £50 on the Kindle Paperwhite touchscreen one. Besides which the Kindles do not support the borrowing of library books which our library has introduced. I have been waiting for Mark to come home all day so he can set it up for me! ![]() Anyone who knows me, knows I like a bargain! While I was out picking up my new Kobo I popped into Birthdays (yes again!) and got another 20 gift tags for 20p to use as card toppers. (I have already made 4 cards using them which I will do a post on soon!) They had also put more stock out so I had 4 boxes of Christmas cards for the kids, 2 boxes each, each box was 20p! I also got another 5 rolls of Christmas wrapping paper for £1. ![]() But the biggest bargain I had was this! This bag was £14.99 reduced to £1.50!!!!!!! I had been after a trolley case or grown up style bag for Anais for a while as she is going on a one night residential trip with school later this year. She could also do with a bigger and more grown up bag for when she stays at mom and dads on a weekend. This was perfect and a bargain at only £1.50! She was over the moon with it :-) ![]() So while I was waiting for Mark to come home I thought I'd do more on my dolphin latch hook. This one seems to go together quicker than the lion one that I did as there are bigger blocks of colour so it grows quicker. I ended up doing 1300 latches today! There are now 35 blocks of 10x10 to do = 3500 latches to go! Now I have another Kobo this might take a backseat so I can finish New Moon. Which is what I am going to do now................
