For anyone who doesn't know we actually met on holiday in Cyprus in December 1998 and spent a lot of time together as friends. It wasn't until we got home we began "seeing" each other. Turns out he lived in the next town to me.
Neither of us are religious so we weren't interested in a church ceremony and wanted something a little more "personal to us" than a register office so we chose a local hotel to get married in. On the day, Mark actually very nearly passed out!
So today's blog entry is a tribute to Mark who looks after us all! Gets up early every day and travels lots of miles for work to keep us in swimming lessons, caravan holidays and goats cheese and roasted vegetables and lets me have a car! I am very lucky! xx
Happy Anniversary and I love you! xxxx
Anais and Roman bowling...
Mark - 81 points, fastest ball 12.8 mph
Anais - 75 points, fastest ball 6.1 mph
Roman - 72 points, fastest ball 4.4 mph
Me - 68 points, fastest ball 10.5 mph
On the plus side today I have mostly unpacked everything from our five weeks away, all the washing has been done (still got to do the ironing - *groan!)* and I have labelled all of Roman's school uniform though I still have to do Anais'. Now off to do packed lunches.............
