Anais and Roman have been playing on their bikes. Anais had another go at knitting. Roman took the box the milk cartons came in and turned it into a helicopter launch pad with storage underneath for other vehicles.
Anais checked the crystal solution earlier she made on Sunday and a crystal has formed! Shame we threw so many batches of it away on Sunday until we realised they took a week to form. In their excitement they both put aprons on earlier and had another go at making a new batch each. Fingers crossed this time next week we should have more crystals growing!
Food shopping this afternoon. Roman took two cardboard boxes from Aldi and turned it into a boat and used his K'Nex to make oars.
It was lovely and sunny all day, no-one was interested in a big tea so we had bacon sandwiches cooked on the BBQ.
Anais and Roman's friend Milly came this evening, they played with her before the heavens opened and then went in the tent and then Jenny's awning when it went colder.
I have done a little crochet tonight and been reading my book Jo Nesbo "The Devil Star"
Pictures below -
* grass hopper on the light in Jenny's awning
* a large freaky spider on my car - I was too scared to open the boot!
It is currently raining - we are cozy and warm in the van. It is very warm in the caravan and relaxing listening to pitter patter on the roof.
