We had a lovely but busy day today.
Roman was off school today for teacher training. Mark booked one of his last two days off today too, unfortunately Anais had to go to school. This morning the three of us went shopping to Asda, Roman brought this shark jump set with his tooth fairy money. The car flicks down down the track and you have to try to get it in the shark's mouth.

Roman also sat in the warm conservatory watching his tablet under cover as it was so bright!
Before lunch we went shopping. Roman wanted to keep his book voucher for another day. We got Roman some new swimming goggles (his snapped on Thursday) and trainers and Roman wanted to have a go at growing something so we got some seeds too.
Lunch was McDonald's as a treat. We had Mario and not sure what the mushroom is called but Roman gave it to Anais and she called him "fungi" as in "fun guy"!
New cast iron saucepans from Sainsbury's reduced to £9 each. I love cast iron pans.
Also today we started to decorate Anais' bedroom. Wardrobe is dismantled and ready for the tip, laminate floor is up and the wallpaper stripping has begun.
We popped to the shops with Anais after school to look at wallpaper. She wanted the pretty wallpaper in this blog post from September but sadly it is no longer stocked in B&Q. We were very lucky as we found Homezone stocked it now instead, she was pleased as she likes this one as it has music notes in it.

Tea of choice tonight - Anais and Roman said pizza (no surprise there) Mark said "something tasty" so we had Peri Peri chicken (just veggie's for me) with cous cous, mini garlic bread and onion bhaji's. VERY hot, but VERY tasty. Roman ate his pizza and then came to attack ours too!
I also made a ginger cake and found half a jar of mincemeat in the fridge leftover from Christmas so put that in too, it tasted like Christmas!
