I went food shopping this morning. When I was in Wilkinson's on Wednesday buying the Christmas tree I noticed they had wine making things on offer. Mark had a look on-line and I went to buy some things today.
Last year we had a go at making beer. This year we are going to try our hand at making wine. To be started this weekend, so watch this space!
While I was in Wilkinson's I also picked up this gingerbread house cookie cutter set for 50p! The past couple of years we have decorated and assembled a gingerbread house kit on Christmas Eve morning and ate it on Christmas Eve night. We didn't last year (2013) though as I was planning on taking the kids shopping to go and buy a kit when they had broken up from school only I ended up with a UTI and ill :-( This cutter set will come in very handy for next Christmas as we can make our own gingerbread dough and make our own house or try to make a shortbread house instead. Oh, and I also picked up a ball of scarf wool from Aldi that had been reduced to £1.75, probably a good job it was the last one or I might have been tempted to come home with the lot! It is a lovely colour and so squishy! And finally 13 bangles from a charity shop for £1 to make more crochet frames.
Project tapestry - not a lot done today but I did do some this afternoon....
Anais and Roman watched "Alpha and Omega 2" on Netflix while I made another chocolate brownie cake for pudding.
With squirty cream, very squidgy!
I am 18% of the way through Dan Brown "Inferno" so far and it enjoying it too. I will shortly go and do more reading until Graham Norton is on later. xx
