I admit to becoming fed up of decorating already. I hate it. I didn't do any wallpaper stripping while Mark was at work today, it's no fun doing it by yourself. I'm reminded now why we don't decorate more often - there is always something better to be doing! It was so warm in the conservatory this afternoon I sat in there with the french doors open wide wishing we could be in the caravan this weekend instead.
Gas Safe man came out to look at the gas pipe though and said he can cap it off and remove the ugly pipe from the wall, hurrah! He is coming back on Monday to do the job then.
When I was in Aldi this morning they were selling off these 400g balls of Aran yarn for £2.50 per ball. They only had 4 balls left - 3 grey and 1 cream. I saw a crochet granny square blanket with cream centre's and grey on the outer.
This is my new long term project. Hopefully if I can do a few square's each day and then crochet or sew them together I will have a lovely squishy blanket in time for Christmas. I have started a shiny new category on the right "Crochet Granny Square Blanket" so I can monitor progress!
