Today I finished my dolphin latch hook!!!!!!!!!!! I am pleased as I gave myself until Easter to do this but I finished it in less than 2 weeks! It didn't take as long as I thought it would (or as long as the lion latch hook took) as there are bigger blocks of colour on this one, it is not so intricate.
Last night I started reading Breaking Dawn. It is the last book in the Twilight series and I have enjoyed reading them though they are not usually what I would have gone for as I have never been into fantasy/sci fi before. Even as a child I was never interested in reading books like The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe instead preferring to read The Famous Five! As an adult I have tried, but never been able to get into Harry Potter books either. I have enjoyed reading The Twilight books though as they cover so much more than the films are able to show and they delve so much deeper. What shall I read after I have finished this last book?!?!
Today i also made two birthday cards using the gift tags I bought. Each tag was mounted onto a mirrored card and this was then mounted onto the card. Stars to compliment the colours in the tag were punched out using a star punch and glued to the front of the card too.

Anais goes to orchestra on a Tuesday. I drop her off at 3.45 and Mark picks her up at 5.15 which works out well as after I drop her off I can come home to start tea.
As the weather is cold, miserable and depressing I thought a nice filling home cooked roast was the way to go! So todays tea was slow roasted beef, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, parsnips and carrots. Yum!
Anyway, when I dropped Anais off I parked in Sainsburys and they have 70% off their bakeware at the moment so I treated myself to these! A square tin as I haven't got a square tin, a new bun tray and 2 new victoria sandwich tins. The bun tray and victoria sandwich tins which are currently in the cupboard can now take up a new home in the caravan saves transporting them each time we go on holiday! And I now have nice new ones for home!:-)
