This morning Anais went to orchestra and brought a new clarinet home. We took a picnic and then went to Selly Manor. We had a walk around Bournville and Bournville School. This afternoon we went to Sarehole Mill. Coastal crochet finished. Border done today while we were in the car and at home tonight.
Roman was back to school today. Anais got things ready for college tomorrow. Coastal crochet up to date. This is the last week. Friday will be the border. Three Fridas Flowers, Block one done.
Thanks jenny for my birthday money, these were delivered earlier. Ready to start the Ubuntu CAL in a few weeks time. These are ready ti start another dragon soon. Roman has already named it - "Smelliot" the offspring of Smaug and Elliot! ![]() Shopping this morning, calendar and diary bought for 2019 and filled in with important dates. Our last day and it has been beautiful warm and sunny. We went for a walk around Bowness after breakfast. We went to Fell Foot Park. Our Coastal Crochets at Fell Foot Park. We had lunch at Claife Viewing Station and went for a little walk down to the shore, past the Freshwater Biological Association and to the car ferry (the car ferry is broken and not in use until October). Absolutely beautiful. Back to the apartment we had a little relax. Anais and Roman stayed behind to watch a film while Mark and I went for a walk around Bowness. "The Hole in T'Wall" in Bowness - The oldest pub in Bowness and frequented by Charles Dickens. Got its name because the blacksmith in the building next door knocked a hole through so he could be served drinks while he worked! Road trip scarf finished! N.B. to self, X4 50g balls, Sublime Baby Cashmere DK, 5mm hook, 40 rows Before tea Mark and I took a walk to the lake. We all went for a walk to Cockshot Point after tea and then around Fallbarrow. Mark and I went back to the lake tonight when it was dark. We saw the viewing station at Claife that we went to earlier today.

Coastal crochet up to date. More pictures of my African flower square blanket. It was washed last night with fabric conditioner which has softened all of the seams. A page for the blanket has been created here. New project on the hook tonight.
One African flower done last night, eleven African flowers done today, twelve flowers squared off today. Thirty two flowers left to make and square. Picture below - two piles of fifty squares and the twelve that got completed today Coastal crochet done in bed this evening, three rows done for todays rows. Nice, warm and sunny day today. Caz and co. came to visit.
Rain, rain and more rain overnight. We popped home to do some washing. Mark picked up his tools so he could look at the heater when we got back. He thinks one of the two heating elements has gone. Six flowers squared today, one hundred squares made in total. Forty four squares left to do. Roman modelling Coast crochet. Fridays rows finished.
