What a tiring and exhausting day. Our caravan had to go to dealers today so off we trot to the storage yard to pull it out, we always tow it out to the right but halfway through pulling it out of the pitch realise that the caravan next to us is a longer one than was there before and we can't get caravan out of pitch without hitting the A frame of van next door. OK, plan B, reverse caravan back into pitch and pull van out to left instead, cannot do this either as car wheels are spinning in the wet mud, neither car or caravan are going anywhere! Can't manually push caravan back into pitch either as caravan has now come off pitch slabs and has sunk into the mud between the slabs and the road. HELP! So after lots of pushing, pulling, getting muddy and stressed and putting van continually on and off the car to manouevre her out AND pushing manually, we managed to pull caravan out of the pitch to the left instead of the right. And how long did this little charade take? Only about an hour, grrrrrrrrrrr. Never again! We will have to sort pitch out and put more slabs down. In our defence today was the wettest that we have ever pulled her out of pitch so I don't envisage it being that wet again, better to be safe than sorry though. ![]() On the way home we stopped off at Hobbycraft and I picked up this ball of wool for only £1, I loved the colour! (I also got 2 other balls as they were on 3 for 2!) ![]() So tonight, we put a film on and I sat and crocheted this little flower. ![]() I also crocheted this which will be a Dahlia flower but it got too late to sew it up so I will have to finish it tomorrow. ![]() Something else I pinched off Facebook but I thought was a lovely quote and made me smile :-)
