We are home now after a lovely weekend. Love, love, love the caravan! Its home from home. Don't think anyone that doesn't have a caravan can appreciate that caravan "smell" when you open the door and it smells of "caravan"! I can only describe it as a "holiday" smell!

This is what the kids bed usually looks like! It is normally our "dining room" and when it is wet outside we turn the TV around so the kids can sit here and watch a dvd and colour or play a game while we sit at the front of the caravan. When the weather is nice like this weekend we leave the kids bed as a bed and spend more time and eat outside.
It is nice to be able to have the choice of a fixed bed (less work to make bed all the time!) or dining area (precious more space on rainy days!). This table seats five of us quite comfortably!

Here is our "living room" which turns into our bed. We also have a large table for here too instead of the small table which comes in handy for preparing dinners.

As the caravan doesn't have a "nose locker" there is a locker over the wheel to keep the gas bottle, toilet chemicals etc which we keep the TV on and little shelves down the side where we keep tea, coffee and sugar.
And yes, we have a pink TV!

We were home today for 1.30 so Mark could mow the lawn (first time this year) and put the trampoline up for the kids. It is wet in this picture as he set the hosepipe on it to make sure it was clean.
After unpacking I made a batch of fairy cakes, yum!
Anais has been doing more of her latch hook, not much left to do now.
We were only away for three nights but came back to the tomato plant sprouting which quite excited Roman who wanted to know how soon it would be before we had tomatoes!
I left some leafy plants in the conservatory and over the past three nights they have also flowered!
Tea today was BBQ, Mark & the kids had burgers and chicken drumsticks. I had cous cous and roasted vegetables, yummy!
Roman wanted to watch Star Wars and play with his new Star Wars Lego, I think it is his "new thing!" All we could hear was "Anais, look, its R2D2!, Anais look at THAT, Anais LOOK!"
