This morning we packed the car and came to Barnsdale Hall.
On the way up we stopped off at Fosse Park and Anais spent some of her Christmas money on a shirt and jacket.
Pictures of lodge to follow tomorrow.
This evening Anais made Mike from Monsters Inc and crocheted a flower.
Roman made me a book of vouchers to cash in for cooking, ironing and watching a Tom Hanks film of my choice!
I made Yoda from Star Wars.
Started last night and finished this morning. The second square for Lily Pond Blanket.
Anais tried her new hair crimpers earlier and crimped her hair.
We popped to the shops to get some fresh air. All we bought were some sunglasses (for me) in the New Look sale, £5 reduced to 50p!
It was cold and snowy today.
I finished part four of "Elements Cal"
Roman started to build his Lego Technic motorbike.
We had a nice day at home.
Roman spent the day building his Lego Technic boat which is now finished.
Mark and Anais worked out how to use Anais' mini mixing desk.
I started week four of "Elements". This is at the end of week three.
Mark started his "Spice of Life" blanket, one row done so far.
Unfortunately he has to undo it all as he just realised he did this in a 3mm hook and it needs to be done in a 4mm hook as its too tight. Oops!
Father Christmas came! Beer, carrot and mince pie, all gone!
Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!!!
We had a lovely day today.
Roman woke us up just after 7am but we didn't get up until just after 7.30am.
Anais still hasn't felt very well all day. She had half a yogurt for breakfast, a small amount of tomato soup for lunch and 2 potatoes and a yorkshire pudding for tea.
Anais made us this frame as a present. This took her three nights to do last week. (Photos cropped out).

Mark and Roman built the gingerbread house which later collapsed!
Roman finished the Bakewell tart.
This evening we went carol singing at The Green. Anais came though she didn't feel very well.
No blog from Anais tonight as she is feeling too ill.
We had a busy day today. When we got up we used the gingerbread dough (we made when it snowed) and baked it to make a gingerbread house tomorrow. With the leftover dough we made gingerbread biscuits and later covered them in chocolate and sprinkles (but forgot to take a photo of those).
Anais and Roman made more chocolate bars but we forgot to take a photo of those.
We had these pink lanterns which Anais and Roman spray painted gold for when we go carol singing tomorrow night (hope it doesn't rain).
We made two batches of reindeer food and took one batch and had a walk around the Lickey hills.
When we got back Anais and Roman made some peppermints which we later dipped in chocolate but forgot to take a photo of.
