Not much to show for today as I have been shopping and putting the house back in order with the many Christmas things that are now out.

Anais went for her practise for her clarinet exam today, Mark took her while I stayed home to cook tea. They walked in this evening to dinner on the table ready and waiting for them :-)

No cricket club for Roman due to bad weather. He made this snowman mask instead.

This morning we got up and went to Coughton Court which was very festive as the house was dressed for Christmas.

This afternoon Roman did his homework and Anais made this star.................

Christmas has started in our house! Today we put the tree up.

Sherry and mince pies.

Tree in the living room and Fred the fire is on :-)

Very late this afternoon we went to have a look around the garden centre.

Today we have mostly been listening to this on repeat!

I got sooooo much done today.

Beds changed, a bookcase moved, more tidying and cleaning done in prep for the Christmas tree to go up tomorrow.

A quick visit to Morrisons.

I also made and decorated the cake for Shelagh's birthday, slideshow below.

Roman finished early for the school Christmas fair. When Anais finished school she took him to it.

This evening I got the sewing machine out to repair a cushion that had come apart on one of the seams.

Anais made a Christmas star to hang on the tree tomorrow.

Blog has a shiny new Christmas wallpaper.

Shopping today to avoid the madness of Black Friday tomorrow.

I stamped all our Christmas cards with Christmas sentiments.

Roman went to basketball club.

Anais went to school for a dance event this evening.

Mark made a shoe rack under the stairs.

This morning was English group.

This afternoon was craft group. We made snowmen out of socks and rice. Mine is on the left and Nicolette's is on the right.

This morning I finished our Christmas cards off. No photo until they have all been delivered.

Anais went to school orchestra and local orchestra after school.

This evening we went to the cinema to see "The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 2". We have waited all year to see this and the final didn't disappoint.

On the way home we stopped off to buy a poinsetta. We are all ready to put the Christmas tree up on Saturday now - we have sherry, mince pies, music and a poinsetta!

It was too cold to go shopping for the freezer this morning so I had a go at making a sugar paste cat for Shelagh's birthday cake. There is a reason he is lying down - I have a plan!

I have also been cleaning and tidying in preparation for the Christmas tree to go up on Saturday!

Roman went to cricket club after school. Anais went to netball club.

Roman helped us to clean the sofa.

This evening we made our fingerprint Christmas cards. I can assemble them all tomorrow.

When we got back this afternoon we trimmed Roman's hair. I went to sort tea and realised the freezer in the kitchen had broken - everything was partially defrosted. Mark looked on Curry's website and went to buy a replacement.

We have spent the afternoon cooking the defrosted things ready to freeze and reheat at a later date.

Roman made some mince pies with the defrosted pastry.

This evening we had a practise run of our 2015 fingerprint Christmas cards. In 2011, 2012, 2103 and 2014 we did reindeer - this year we are doing something different CLUE - let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Thanks mom and dad for looking after Anais and Roman tonight so we could go out with Mark's works colleague's.
