Cold and frosty this morning. Mark couldn't fix Freds fan last night. I remembered Aldi had fans on offer at the beginning of October but they were sold out online. Luckily our store had some left! ![]() £25 and a three year warranty. Happy days! Anais got her new glassees this afternoon. This evening she went on a school trip. Roman made a jet from a Lego lorry set.
We were at the cinema for 10am to watch "Cars 3" - loved it, lovely film.
This afternoon Mark went to help Jenny put the cover on her caravan.
We lit Fred for the first time tonight. The fan is broken though, we need to buy a new one. Our entry in the visitors book..... We left at 8.15am. On the moors this morning................... We were home for just after 1PM.
We are all unpacked and this afternoon hired "The Mummy" to watch while we ate tea. Oh, and Roman took hi cake out of the freezer and finished it off. Very nice Roman! xx It was a lovely day today. We drove to Portcothan Bay and spent three hours on the beach. Too late for a walk to the Delphi Bridge when we got back so we stopped off in the car instead. Really pretty here. Anais and Roman made some Minion cupcakes. Cluedo lasted a long time tonight as Roman put two PEOPLE in the centre cards instead of a person, weapon and room. No-one could figure it out until we called it a day, looked at the cards and realised why no-one could win!
Cobweb outside the window this morning........... We went back to Port Gaverne, parked the car and walked into Port isaac. We walked back to Port Gaverne and spent almost two hours on the beach where we had our lunch. Anais and Roman tried to build several dams. We then took a walk along the cliffs. This afternoon we came back to the cottage and then went for a walk to the Delphi Bridge. Roman won Cluedo tonight.
On the moors this morning.......... First stop was Launceston................ Back to the cottage for lunch and then a trip to Padstow which was VERY busy. All of the car parks were full but we managed to find a spot in the street with half hour parking which was plenty. We drove round the corner to Constantine Bay. We stopped off at the pub on the way home. Anais had a burger, Roman had lasagne, mark had chicken and gammon pie and I had vegetable jalfrezi.

Back to the apartment this afternoon Mark and Roman built this Spitfire model. Very muddy lanes, Marks very dirty car! Before it went dark we went to fly the kites and saw some friendly wild ponies. They were interested in the kites and tried to run to Marks when it crashed, Mark had to run to get it first! They were so friendly two of them came close enough for me to stroke them. Anais won Cluedo again tonight.
It was rainy wet and cloudy on the moors this morning. First stop was Lanyhdrock (National Trust). We had a walk around Bodmin Town. It was raining throughout the day and when we got back the De Lank River was high when we drove over the Delphi Bridge. Info on the cottage from the book of information. Late this afternoon it stopped raining so we went to the moors to try and fly the kites. There was no wind so we cam back. Although it wasn't raining it was very damp due to the low clouds. Anais won Cluedo tonight.
There was heavy rain when we got up this morning. A rainbow over the cottages. When it stopped raining we walked to the Delphi Bridge and saw wild ponies, cows and sheep. The water was high. We came back to the cottage for lunch and then went to a very windy Boscastle. We went to Tintagel and the Old Post Office (National Trust). On the way back we stopped off at Delphi Bridge.
