Heavy rain when we got back so we made the decision to go to the cinema and see Top Gun 2. Waited for ages to see this and it did not disappoint. Absolutely loved it. A very old fashioned cinema where they play adverts and trailers and you think the film will start after that, but no! A man comes out to sell ice creams and all the lights go back on. When everyone has bought an ice cream the lights go back off and the film finally comes on.
The rest of the afternoon was spent at the caravan.

7.5K before breakfast to the cider farm and back. Breakfast with the swans and Roman made pancakes again. We climbed to the top of Brean Down and walked to the fort at the end. We were going to stay for a picnic but it went very cloudy so we went back to the car instead. No rain shower, just drizzle. We had a few rain showers this afternoon but spent the afternoon at the caravan.
Mark, Roman and Jenny went for a walk tonight. 7.5K before breakfast, to the cider farm and back. Breakfast sat outside in the sun. Roman set himself a pancake making station up.
We visited Bridgewater specifically to find a Milletts and get Roman some things for his school camping trip. Lunch was slow cooked gammon, veggie fingers, mashed potato, carrots and broccoli. We visited Burnham on Sea, down the high street and back along the sea front. The rest of the afternoon was spent at the caravan sat in the awning. We went to the river tonight and the swans are making themselves at home on our pitch. 7.5K before breakfast. It took about two hours longer than expected (bad traffic on the M5) but we got here eventually - West Hill Farm Caravan Park. We are on our favourite pitch 5 which has been occupied by a family of swans and the cows are in the field next to us. Tonight Mark took Roman for a walk.
7.5K started at 4.45am - the earliest outing ever. Mark had to be in London early and did not want any chance of missing his train. Started a new project, nothing very exciting.
Decided to do our long run this morning so got up extra early. Once around the reservoir and then to Bournville and back before 8am. Lovely time at Gillys for crafties this morning. I got this far with a table runner.
7.5K before breakfast. Crochet done today, four African flower granny squares......................... ....................and another little mat.
7.5Kat silly o'clock this morning because Mark had to go to a meeting. Caught up with some friends, made this from a vintage pattern from 1954.
7.5K before breakfast around the reservoir and park. Made a fruit cake. Finished this crochet (used all the yarn up).
7.5K before breakfast around the reservoir and park. Pancakes for breakfast. Bunting finished. Added red, white and blue beads to the bottom to hang up for the jubilee. Pattern here. A walk around the park after lunch. Crochet so far. Chocolate pots for pudding.
