End of month running stats, May was our highest mileage month ever -
* ran 31/31 days
* 252.8 km
* 157.08 miles

Today -

* 7.5K ran before breakfast, actually around the race course this morning (not the track!) and out onto the roads to Pittville Park and back again.

* Went to Hailes Abbey which was fascinating, really enjoyed it there

* Back to the caravan for lunch and the afternoon spent at the caravan enjoying the sun

* Jenny came in her caravan, we went for a walk to the signal box, see if you can spot Jenny at the back of her caravan waving to us!

Today -

* 7.3K ran before breakfast. Tried to run the outside of Cheltenham Race Course but ended up getting lost in the maze of car parks once we got out of the countryside

* a visit to Chedworth Roman Villa

* Back to the caravan for lunch - spaghetti, meatballs and salad

* a visit to Cheltenham town centre this afternoon, we walked around the shops

* Back to the caravan for tea, tiger bread sandwiches, salad and nibbly things

* A walk partway around the race course this evening

* played Scrabble, Anais won

Packed the car and left for Cheltenham.

Got here 12.20pm. Had lunch and put the awning up. Went for a drive to Cheltenham and had a look in Primark. Went shopping to Tesco and Hobbycraft.

Back to the caravan for tea.

A walk partway round the outside of the racing track.

Site is lovely and we are right next to the race course.

Todays knitting attempt, tension needs to be improved, cast off when I lost a stitch somewhere.

A nice morning spent catching up with friends, cake and all the chats. Gilly made us all some stitch markers.

Knitting was going well until I dropped a stitch and tried to pick it up, I need to learn how to fix mistakes.

Coastal crochet - two rows of basket weave done.

Strawberries made on Coastal Crochet.

Was doing well with knitting (top), made a mistake, couldn't fix, cast off instead and went in a mood.

Bottom - tried to pick up stitches at the bottom of a shape.

Finished this which was rubbish, all 756 pages.

Knitting endevours did not go well today - I get flummoxed when I drop a stitch or need to undo a row because I have no idea how to put it back on the needle.

Part 6 - Coastal Crochet finished.

Roman made a rice crispe chocolate cake.

Peanut butter chocolate pots made for pudding tonight.

Todays knitting attempt - kind of followed a pattern, had to undo and redo rows, tension is terrible. Will keep trying.

It finally stopped raining this morning so Mark cut the grass.
