Finished last night!!!!!!!!!!
This morning we went for a walk around Weston Super Mare.
We had a 2.1 mile walk down Sand Bay and back.
We had a walk around Burnham.
Cows in the field next to us.
After tea we fed the donkeys, went geocatching and did 2.5 miles down the river and back.
Only light showers on and off today, we were lucky with the weather as it wasn't that wet at all.
First stop was Street, a walk round the outlet shops.
Next stop, Wells..........
Third stop, Cheddar. The cheese shop had sold out of Marks favourite chilli cheese.
On the way back we stopped off to climb Brean Down. We used the stairs to climb up but came down using the path.
After tea we went to feed the donkeys and go for a walk down the river. We did 3.4 miles.
It was nice and sunny when we went out this morning. Anais was wearing shorts but took leggings "just in case".
We went to Tyntsfield. It had gone grey and cloudy by this point so Anais put her leggings on. We had a walk around the house and grounds. When we came out of the house it was pouring with rain.
We drove to Brean and went to look at the beach before going to see Gary and Stacey and spent the afternoon in their caravan followed by tea in the pub. A lovely afternoon.
It was lovely and sunny when we got up this morning. We went for a walk around Bridgewater Docks and town.
We came back to the caravan for cheese and crackers for lunch.
Mark got bit by something and had nasty bites on his back so we had to find a pharmacy for some cream.
We spent an hour and half on the beach. Roman played in the sand, Anais looked at her music books and Mark and I read our books. it looks cloudy but it was actually rather warm.
Anais and Roman had a go on the miniature train at West Huntspill Railway.
It started spitting with rain so we came back to the caravan to cook tea, gammon, steamed potoatoes, carrots, brocolli and cauliflower with roasted mediterranean veg.
After tea we were going for a walk and stopped off to see the piglets, they are only 8 weeks old. It started raining heavily so we abandoned the walk and came back to the caravan instead.
We were up just after 6am this morning. We left the house approx 8am and left the caravan storage at 9am. Nightmare traffic all the way meant the journey took FIVE hours.
We are in the field next to the donkeys.
Caravan and awning set up.
After a late lunch we went for a walk around Burnham and shopping to Tesco.
After tea we went for a walk by the river...........
.......................and geocatching. The third time we found this treasure.
Caravan crochet bits................. a daisy chain, Hank the Herdwick and crochet doll.
Roman was supposed to go on a school trip to London today sightseeing and to visit parliament. They got as far as Oxford and found out the coach couldn't park where it was supposed to and tours of parliament had been stopped. They went to Blenheim Palace instead, he still had a lovely day and took lots of pictures (Groot is in most of them!).
The silver lining was he was back in time for his swimming lesson and this was the first one in his new group (he got moved up last week).
Not a good picture but lots of squirrels in the car park at swimming.
I made Roman a Groot (from Guardians of the Galaxy). Pattern found HERE.
He comes out the flower pot so he can be carried. There are pipe cleaners in his arms so they can be moved!
I am Michelle (41), mum to Anais (17) and Roman (12), been married to Mark (46) for 18 years, stay at home mum.
