Today was Romans first day at secondary school. Anais did a trial bus run to college (and got herself lost)! I bought this carrot cake mix from Aldi.  It was very nice.   Coastal crochet up to date.   This evening we did a bat walk. We heard the bats on the sonic detectors but we didn't see any.

One marble birthday cake freshly baked....................    Another new project, Fridas Flowers. To be started when Sophie is finished.  Two rounds left on Sophie.  Getting autumn prepared.  Three rounds done on Sophies universe.  Thanks jenny for my birthday money, these were delivered earlier. Ready to start the Ubuntu CAL in a few weeks time.  These are ready ti start another dragon soon. Roman has already named it - "Smelliot" the offspring of Smaug and Elliot!  Shopping this morning, calendar and diary bought for 2019 and filled in with important dates.  One round of Sophies Universe done.  Coastal crochet up to date.   Anais is registered for her college course. Coastal crochet up to date...........  One round of Sophies Universe done. Part 15 finished.  Well done Anais on your exam results, we are proud of you! Romans friend Corey came round today. I made an almond cake.  One round done of Sophies Universe, 31 popcorns on each side, 124 total popcorns on this round.  Romans swimming lesson was cancelled. We asked Anais if she wanted to go out for tea or get some pizza in and watch a film and she wanted to watch "The Black Panther" so we stayed in.
I haven't touched Sophies Universe since the middle of July.  Round 99 done today. It is getting longer to do each round now.  It took a while to sort these out earlier because they were covered in dried grass. Roman picked these pine cones on Friday while we were taking the awning down and we put them out today to prepare for autumn. Anais made this dragon with her 3D pen. 
Well done Roman, he came home from school with these............
A certificate and £10 voucher for being a winner of the science competition with his entry on tornadoes.
And a £5 gift voucher for 100% attendance and no lates from September.
He also won this on the raffle.
Sophies Universe to the end of part 14, the Butterfly band is complete and is really pretty.
This evening Roman had a swimming lesson.

Two rounds done on Sophies Universe.  A crochet flower made.  We have all been to the dentist. Roman started to make something with cardboard.  |
