Anais was up early to make Roman a boiled egg and soldiers for breakfast.
Mark put the new soak away in which took all day as he had to dig a huge hole and knock some bricks out.
I made THIS honey cake.
No crochet today but I did sew all the ends in to the little triangles and to the blanket. just the ends on this corner to sew in now and then i can join the triangles.

Marks stats. He can run further and faster than me.
Pictures Roman took at the park.
I got this far with Persian Tiles today. I'm taking a different approach and joining at the end of each day instead of the monotony of saving them all to join at the end.
Guess who was out of bed this morning at 6.30am to go for a run at 7am?!?!
We finished run three of week one. On Wednesday we can progress to week two, run one of three.
This is what we had to do for the three runs of week one.
We decided to track ourselves today. The tracker does not include the five minute warm up walk at the beginning or five minute cool down walk at the end.
Here are my stats..............
Apparently 1.52 miles is 2.44 kilometres. The aim is to run (no walking) 5 kilometres in under 30 minutes.

This came in the post. Hurrah!
Bought off a local selling site and picked up today, a running belt to keep my phone in (so I can run hands free and not carry it), £1. RRP is £8!
Four rounds done on Sophie today and part 11 finished, ready to start part 12.
More rain today so we took the opportunity to go and get all of Romans school uniform and shoes.
The boiler keeps tripping the electric so we need a new boiler. Need to look into that this week.
The hoover broke, Mark managed to fix it.
We did a 1.75 mile walk tonight (run day tomorrow).
Another one round done on twelve tiles.

Mark and I went to buy some running trainers each (he doesn't have any and yesterday I wore Anais' old PE trainers which are size 7.5 and I am size 6!)
After tea and in between the rain showers we went for a walk. (No running today - you have to have a days rest in between each run).
Roman has been crocheting again, he made a monster.
Two rounds done on Sophie, got to the end of round 77.
New project started, 5mm hook, pattern HERE.
The next round done on four Persian Tiles.
This evening Mark and I did something we have never done before - went for a run! Kind of! We decided we like walking (mainly walk a lot on holiday) so we are going to do the "Couch to 5K" and get fit.
We are both feeling it in our legs this evening but the view from the top of the hill was lovely.
